Scrambled to make the 8:00 a.m. ferry and succeeded!! Athena and I stopped at a wayside in Cornucopia (Wisconsin's northernmost town) on Highway 13. The morning sun gave the surroundings a soft, warm glow.  The water isn't looking brown like it did when we stopped near here on our way up.

First trip up for the season.

Athena and I only made two stops on the way up. The above two pictures were made at our second stop not far from Cornucopia, Wisconsin on Highway 13 North. The water is a bit brown due to some recent heavy storms.

Athena and I made it just in time for the 4 p.m. ferry.

I think Athena, an excellent traveler as always, recognizes where she is.

Still on the ferry. We're both looking forward to seeing Dale. By the way, I am so happy I didn't forget my suitcase like last year!!
