While Dale was in the store I snapped a couple of pictures. The top one is looking toward the lake from Lori’s. The bottom one is the back of Tommy’s Burned Down Bar. It turns out it’s been closed due to the pandemic and the word around town is that a lot of residents are appreciating the quiet.

After my cigar, Dale and I headed over to Lori’s to get snacks and some ice cream for dessert. There was a line waiting to get in. Turns out they were only letting one person in at a time.

Afternoon cigar and cocktail hour. More orange juice and Bacardi. On the Bose I listened to a little Elvis and Robert Drasnin. Dale joined me once back from work. Dinner was take out from The Pub. We watched the convention again tonight. Biden spoke and did rather well.

Athena loves being in a comfy place. The couches here are a bit lower that ours at home so it’s easier for her to get up. We’re realizing her back legs are not as diminished as we thought.

Dale found a nice red wine at the grocery store in Washburn. I had orange juice and Bacardi which is about as tiki as ya gon’ get in northern Wisconsin.

Good morning!
While Dale took a canoe ride with Maggie (at 6 a.m.), Athena and I took a little hike around the property. Athena is LOVIN’ it. All new sights and smells.
